We wanted to be able to clear up the confusion for our clients, as we have now received confirmation that Veterinary hospitals are considered to be an essential business in Michigan. Therefore with the Stay Home, Stay Safe, Save Lives order we will still be able to provide care for your pets and we are incredibly grateful to be able to do so.
We were relieved to find this out this afternoon, however it does not protect us if one of our staff or doctors becomes ill or exposed and therefore our lobby will remain closed and elective services like grooming and boarding will be closed for the time being.
At this time, we are not currently cancelling or postponing services your pet is already scheduled for, but we continue to monitor our schedule closely. Our commitment to continue to provide best medicine and exceptional service has not changed.
And finally, please be patient with our phones. Our front desk is fielding a tremendous amount of calls and our doctors are utilizing those same phone lines for telemedicine.
